Time for tea!

Updated: Nov 5, 2020

I purchased a few mint plants several weeks ago when the weather was a little warmer than it is now. I potted them up, sold a few at my favorite corner market (LeBeau Market), and kept a few for myself. Now when I need a break from my computer screen, I head down to my backyard and snip off a few sprigs of mint. I squeeze a bit of honey into a mason jar, zest some orange and ginger into my coffee dripper thing, boil some water and voila! It's soothing, comforting, warm, and has no caffeine! No more Peppermint or Spearmint for me, these girls rock! Hope you try this at home soon....

Botanical Name:SATUREJA douglasii 'Indian Mint'. This is not as strong as peppermint or spearmint, but a little stronger than Catmint (pictured below)

Botanical Name: NEPETA x faassenii 'Catmint'. This is mellow and soothing.
